Research Fellow Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav) at Monash University
Two new opportunities exist for two Research Fellows to join the Monash University node of the OzGrav Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery at Monash University, and the OzGrav Centre of Excellence. As the successful applicant you will carry out research in areas related to gravitational-wave astronomy broadly defined. This includes, but is not limited to gravitational-wave data analysis with LIGO and/or pulsar timing arrays, astrophysics of gravitational-wave sources, and tests of general relativity. The successful candidates will hold a PhD in astrophysics, physics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field, and have experience in gravitational-wave astronomy, Bayesian methods, time-series analysis, general relativity, and/or high-energy astrophysics. You will have demonstrated analytical and manuscript preparation skills, including a track record of refereed research. Applications Close: Sunday 22 November 2026, 11:55pm AEDT
