PhD Positions in GW Astrophysics & Dark Matter at GRAPPA (UvA)

GRAPPA invites applications for one or more PhD positions to work at the interface of general relativity, gravitational wave astrophysics, and dark matter phenomenology within the ERC Advanced Grant “De Tenebris,” led by Prof. G. Bertone. The PhD candidate will develop and apply theoretical and computational models for compact binaries in astrophysical/dark matter environments and contribute to the interpretation of current and future gravitational wave observations (LISA and next-generation ground-based detectors). The position is embedded in a collaborative team with strong ties to the international gravitational wave and dark matter communities. Application deadline December 1st 2026.
