Postdoctoral Position in Multimessenger Astrophysics and Stellar Evolution Near Massive Black Holes in Warsaw

Postdoctoral position at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK PAN) in Warsaw, Poland, within the project “Stars Near Massive Black Holes as Electromagnetic Sources and Future Gravitational-Wave Targets for LISA.” Application deadline: November 15, 2026. The project focuses on stellar EMRIs/IMRIs as potential multimessenger sources for LISA. We welcome candidates with expertise across a broad range of areas, including stellar and binary evolution, hydrodynamical simulations of stellar interactions, stellar oscillations and tides, electromagnetic counterparts and tidal disruption events, and gravitational-wave astrophysics.
