PhD in Experimental Astroparticle Physics at KIT
The Institute of Experimental Particle Physics (ETP) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) invites applications for a doctoral position in High-Energy Astroparticle Physics within the IceCube Neutrino Observatory collaboration. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in cosmic-ray physics using IceCube. A central focus of the project is the recently upgraded IceCube surface detector array, where the existing IceTop is being extended by a hybrid network of radio antennas and scintillation detectors. The doctoral researcher will play a key role in the calibration, event reconstruction, and scientific analysis of data from this novel detector array. Application deadline: November 14th, 2026.
