The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Astronomy & Astrophysics is a joint structured Ph.D. program of the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy (MPIfR, Bonn) and the Universities of Bonn and Cologne. At one of the most vibrant astronomy centers in Europe, several PhD positions are available for talented students nearing the end of their Master’s degree (or equivalent) in physics or astrophysics. The teaching language is English. The application deadline is October 30th, 2026.
