Postdoc position: novel interferometric sensing techniques and seismic noise mitigation in a torsion balance at AEI Hannover
The Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute, AEI) in Hannover, Germany, is looking for a Postdoc in Physics or a closely related field to continue the work on the construction of a torsion balance facility for the development of laser interferometric inertial sensors. The project is part of the “Interferometry in Space” group within the department “Laser Interferometry and Gravitational Wave Astronomy”. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The deadline for full consideration is September 30, 2023, including reception of reference letter. Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
