Postdoc at Precision Interferometry and Fundamental Interactions at AEI Hannover
This department’s research encompasses precision interferometry instrumentation for ground-based and space-based gravitational-wave observatories and laser-optical searches for fundamental interactions beyond the standard model. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The department Precision Interferometry and Fundamental Interactions has been established in August of 2022 and is led by Guido Müller. It’s research thrusts include work on the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA), work on Beyond-LISA mission concepts, on Axion-Like Particle Searches (ALPS) and on Vacuum Magnetic Birefringence (VMB), the later two being located at DESY. The deadline for full consideration is March 31, 2024, including reception of reference letter. Applications will be considered until all positions are filled.
