Post-doctoral Researcher Position at Friedrich Schiller University Jena
The position is associated with the research group of Prof. Sebastiano Bernuzzi at the TPI to the project „GROOVHY: Gravitational radiation from black holes’ hyperbolic mergers“, which is funded by by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) for three years. The selected candidate is expected to work on one or more aspects of the project that spans: effective-one-body models for hyperbolic and generic-orbit binary black hole mergers, numerical-relativity simulations including test-body perturbative simulations, Bayesian data analysis of non-circularized black hole mergers.
